Job Overview:Our client in Bessemer is seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role focuses heavily on electrical work but requires proficiency in mechanical aptitude plus welding skills to support plant operations. If you enjoy tackling complex problems and ensuring equipment runs smoothly, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance:Troubleshoot, repair, and possibly install electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Mechanical Maintenance:Inspect and repair mechanical components such as conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.Perform routine lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of machine parts as needed.Perform various welding tasks to support plant needs. General Maintenance:Support facility maintenance needs, including lighting and basic plumbing.Assist with machine setup and alignment as needed.Safety Compliance:Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance is a plus.Experience:Must have 3-5 years of multi-craft maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.Strong focus on electrical systems with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.Strong mechanical history Basic understanding of welding and fabrication is a plus.Pay range will vary based on experience $28-$34 per hour - some flexibility for the right person! #ZR#TALROO
