ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Regulatory Compliance team, the
Compliance Analyst will assist in the day-to-day operations of the
HIPAA component of the regulatory compliance department. The
Compliance Analyst will work with all Support Services departments
as well as interact directly with SCA's facilities in managing
HIPAA Privacy program and it's processes. Key
Responsibilities:Performing all phases of HIPAA related reviews and
support activity (e.g., HIPAA breach reporting, Regulatory
Compliance Leads Program operations related to HIPAA reporting,
HIPAA training tracking, HIPAA auditing)Assist in the diligence,
integration, and acquisition process as it relates to HIPAA/Cyber
SecurityAssist in contract workflows to review new and updated
Business Associate AgreementsWorking effectively with other
departments/external sources as it related to providing HIPAA
guidanceCoordinating with IT regarding Cyber Security risk within
the corporate environmentMonitoring of Teammate activity in HIPAA
scoped applications using corporate solutions (Fairwarning)Working
as part of a team who support each other to accomplish goals and
objectives together QualificationsQualifications:Deep Knowledge &
understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security related principles
and state lawsUnderstanding of HIPAA processes and internal HIPAA
controlsUnderstanding basic healthcare compliance and compliance
related principlesExcellent planning, analytical, organizational,
and communication skills are essentialStrong Excel and Word
skillsFlexible attitude and open to changes in the day-to-day work
scheduleAbsolute attention to detailDemonstrate ability to manage
multiple projects and tight deadlinesExcellent teamwork and
interpersonal skillsDemonstrate leadership potentialStrong mission

Qualifications: 2+ years of experience related to health care
operations, regulatory compliance, and/or healthcare compliance
preferred, but not required.Project management experienceCyber
Security program experienceExperience in GRC platform
managementExperience working with Optum/UHG regarding new corporate
controls/workflowsCertifications:If not already achieved, obtain
the below certification within first two years of
employment:Certification in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS)
