Job Description:
System One is looking for an experienced Quality Control
inspector for a direct QC Inspector role at a facility in
Birmingham, AL.
In order to make an application, simply read through the following
job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.
QC Inspector
Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify conformance
to procurement documents and applicable specifications.
Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify compliance
with internal processing documents and customer requirements.
Calibrate and use measuring equipment used in inspection.
Perform inspection and surveillance activities at remote locations
when needed (i.e., occasional travel as needed.)
Review and interpret ASTM and ASME material specifications.
Review and approve vendor certification documents.
Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve issues as
needed.
Document nonconforming material conditions.
Work in accordance with specified instructions, procedures, and
drawings.
