Job Summary
This is a limited-term position for 1 year, continuation contingent
upon funding.
The department of Biosystems Engineering at Auburn University is
seeking candidates for the position of Research Assistant/Associate
to support lab management and assist in project management
responsibilities for the Green Reimagining of Agriculture in a
Controlled Environment (GRACE). This position is funded from
external sources, and continuation of employment is contingent upon
availability of funds.
The GRACE project aims to find ways to reduce greenhouse carbon
emissions and disseminate this knowledge to the public, fostering a
more sustainable CEA industry through research, education and
outreach. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possessing a
robust work ethic and exceptional organizational skills.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT
All levels require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited
institution at the time employment begins.
Level I: No experience required
Level II: 2 years of relevant experience
Level III: 4 years of relevant experience
Level IV: 6 years of relevant experience
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
All levels require a Master's degree from an accredited institution
at the time employment begins.
Level I: No experience required
Level II: 2 years of relevant experience
Level III: 4 years of relevant experience
Level IV: 6 years of relevant experience
Advanced degrees accepted in lieu of years of experience.
