Job Summary
The position is located in Central/West Alabama. This is a
full-time, one-year, limited-term position. Continuation of
employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.
The Auburn University Department of Human Development and Family
Science isseeking a Family Child Care Mentor to work directly with
childcare providersand families participating in the Accreditation
Facilitation Project (AFP). This positionis part of the Family
Child Care Partnerships (FCCP) project, which assists familychild
care providers to provide high-quality child care services with a
focus onmoving them toward national accreditation standards. Learn

Minimum Qualifications
Level I: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood
Education,
Human Development and Family Studies, or related field that
includes specific
coursework in working with children and families. No experience
required.
Level II: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood
Education,
Human Development and Family Studies, or related field that
includes specific
coursework in working with children and families plus 2 years of
experience in community-based education, program planning,
implementation, or evaluation.
Level III: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood
Education,
Human Development and Family Studies, or related field that
includes specific
coursework in working with children and families plus 4 years of
experience in community-based education, program planning,
implementation, or evaluation.
Advanced degrees may substitute for years of experience.
