  Key Responsibilities:
  
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to manage patient care and ensure effective utilization of healthcare resources.
  
  Take leadership in discharge planning to achieve safe outcomes, balancing clinical and financial goals.
  
  Coordinate care across the continuum, from acute care episodes to post-acute services.
  
  Must be willing to float between units and hospitals.
  
  Education Required:
  
  Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
  
  BSN or related healthcare degree preferred
  
  Certifications Required:
  
  AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  
  Licensing Required:
  
  Registered Nurse with an Alabama state license (or compact license)
  
  No Temporary Licenses accepted
  
  NURSYS verification required for submission
  
  Experience Required:
  
  2 years of nursing experience
  
  Relevant experience in utilization and/or case management preferred
  
  Work Environment:
  
  Clinical position
  
  Meditech is the EMR system used
  
  Dress Code: Solid Navy scrubs
