year.Your Role as an Urgent Care Physician:As a vital member of our
team, you will: Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute
illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting. Perform minor
procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage.
Provide efficient, high-quality medical care with a focus on
patient satisfaction. Work autonomously while collaborating with
APPs and support staff. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR)
efficiently for documentation and patient care.Qualifications:
Licensure: Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Alabama.
Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family
Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty. Experience:
Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred. Skills:
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work
independently. DOT Certification: Preferred, but we offer support
to obtain it within the first 6 weeks.Schedule & Work Environment:
Rotating Shifts: Three 11-hour shifts one week, four 11-hour shifts
the next. Weekend Rotations: Work every other weekend to maintain
work-life balance. Clinic Hours: Monday Saturday (8 AM - 7 PM),
Sunday (9 AM - 5 PM). Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas.Please
