Your Role as an Urgent Care Physician:

As a vital member of our team, you will:

--- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting.

--- Perform minor procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage.

--- Provide efficient, high-quality medical care with a focus on patient satisfaction.

--- Work autonomously while collaborating with APPs and support staff.

--- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently for documentation and patient care.

Qualifications:

--- Licensure: Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Alabama.

--- Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty.

--- Experience: Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

--- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work independently.

--- DOT Certification: Preferred, but we offer support to obtain it within the first 6 weeks.

Schedule & Work Environment:

--- Rotating Shifts: Three 11-hour shifts one week, four 11-hour shifts the next.

--- Weekend Rotations: Work every other weekend to maintain work-life balance.

--- Clinic Hours: Monday - Saturday (8 AM - 7 PM), Sunday (9 AM - 5 PM). Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas.
