Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: License: Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ability to float as needed within skillset - Adherence to weekend requirement (every other weekend) Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with common medical-surgical diagnoses such as stroke, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, COPD, and COVID-19. - Maintain a safe and effective nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. - Use Cerner for charting and documentation. - Work collaboratively with other Medical/Surgical units when floating. - Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. - Dress professionally in designated scrub color. - No special procedures required. Note: Candidates will be evaluated and offers should be accepted or declined within 48 hours to avoid rescindment. Orientation hours are not provided.
