Job DescriptionTact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.Job Description & Requirements

  Specialty: MS/Tele, 36H or 48H availableMed Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting Experience Required: 2 yearsFirst time travelers are acceptedFloating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)Certifications required: BCLSSkills required: MS/Tele and Telemetry Experience, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response experience, Post MI, IV Insulin Protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, PCA, CVA, Surgical Drains, and Respiratory/Thoracic experienceSkills preferred: Experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Ortho Trauma, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, and Total Joint ReplacementsEMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
