Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Dialysis RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401 About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Dialysis Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) and
4x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15), alternating weeks Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: At least 2 years of acute dialysis experience required;
first-time travelers accepted License: Valid state or compact
nursing license required Certifications: - Required: BCLS -
Preferred: ACLS, CCRN, CDN, CNNS Must-Have: - Experience with
Phoenix Machine - Telemetry skills - Ability to pass cardiac
examination during orientation - EMR experience required (training
provided during orientation) Job Description: - Provide
high-quality nursing care in a short-term acute care setting
specializing in dialysis. - Work with acute hemodialysis and
peritoneal dialysis both in-unit and bedside. - Utilize and manage
the Phoenix dialysis machine; training available if needed. -
Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3. - Participate in on-call
duties: one weekday every 1-2 weeks with the following day off, and
a 12-hour Sunday call approximately every 4 weeks. - Work every
other weekend as part of the shift rotation. - Complete modules
prior to starting; up to 5 hours are compensated. - Follow strict
attendance policy; termination possible after 2-3 occurrences. -
Comply with the requirement of working every other weekend. -
Adhere to compliance document deadlines. Additional Notes: - Navy
scrubs required. - Dysrhythmia exam required for certain units. -
International education must be verified with equivalency
certification. - Bring your own stethoscope to work.
