Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our Acute Dialysis team at DCH Regional Medical Center. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on our patients' lives.

About the Role

This is a 36-hour per week position, working every other Saturday. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Acute Dialysis experience and be certified in BCLS. While ACLS, CCRN, CDN, and CNN certifications are preferred, we are open to training the right candidate. Previous experience with Phoenix machines is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• 
  
• Provide high-quality patient care in an Acute Dialysis setting
  
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  
• Conduct regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  
• Document patient information and progress in the EMR system
  
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed
  
• Attend regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  
  
  Requirements
  
  To be successful in this role, you will need:
  
  
  • 
    
  • At least 2 years of Acute Dialysis experience
    
  • Current BCLS certification
    
  • Ability to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotations
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
