Psychiatry opening in Tuscaloosa, AL 58 miles southwest of Birmingham Population of 90,400 H1 Eligible Seeking a Board Certified Adult or Geriatric Psychiatrist to join team for inpatient hospital coverage that includes emergency department and medical floor consults. About the Job - Full-Time, permanent- Inpatient coverage at Behavioral Health Unit that has a total of 54 beds - 26 adult beds and 28 geriatric beds.- Coverage of medical consults at two campuses.- There is an expected case load of 15 patients per day per provider.- Expected call is every 4th weekend and up to two nights per week.- We are offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.
