of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Software Engineer
Manager oversees application development for a large or complex
department within the company. This position manages strategy
development to ensure the application portfolio meets current
business requirements and is operational, stable, reliable, and
technically mature.Primary Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of system design, development, deployment,
acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for all application systems
within area of responsibility.
- Serves as the primary technology contact for senior management
from all areas of the organization in developing technology
solutions that increase the efficiency of internal business
functions, resolves business problems, and supports the pursuit of
business opportunities for area of responsibility.
- Creates and refines operational processes and systems to ensure
effective regulatory and audit compliance.
- Applies interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan,
design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of
systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system
performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and
ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
- Supports the planning, organization, implementation, and
monitoring of requirements through management processes.This
position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair
Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This
position is incentive eligible.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Two (2) years of supervisory or managerial
experience.Preferences
- Experience in Technology role in banking or financial services
industry.Skills and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
- Strong organizational skills.Desired Qualifications
- 7+ Years Leading Hands-on Empower Configuration design and
implementation.
- 5+ Years leading Empower Configuration analysts within a Retail
Lending technology organization.
- 5+ Years working directly with Black Knight / Dark Matter
specific to Empower Originations support.
- Experience with integrating other vendor solutions into a
mortgage Originations flow, specifically Blend and SureFire.
- Demonstrated ability to reduce volume of custom coded Empower
solutions leveraging a "Back to Base" strategy.
- Possess strong leadership and tactical delivery skills while
demonstrating an aptitude for strategic vision and supportive
planning.Position Type: Full timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are
job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for
compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for
individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge,
contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in
the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also
vary among individual associates within the same job.The target
information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical
Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of
the position.Job Range Target:Minimum: $149,214.80 USDMedian:
$200,900.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to
participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees
are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual,
business, and/or company performance. Opportunity to participate in
