Job Summary: Diesel Technician needed for local trucking jobs with 1+ year experience and valid driver's license.



Our company is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair and diagnosis of major components or removing/ replacing major components of various truck and trailer equipment.

  Key Responsibilities:
  
  
• Diagnose and repair major components of truck and trailer equipment
  
• Assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components
  
• Perform preventive maintenance service
  
  
  
• 
  Requirements:
  
  
• 1+ year experience with tractor trailer maintenance
  
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
  
• Valid driver's license required
  
• Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
  
  
  
  
  
  As a Diesel Technician, you will work independently with little or no supervision to diagnose and repair major components of truck and trailer equipment. You will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance service.

  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
• 2-4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance
  
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
  
• Valid driver's license required
